A Cappellas

Calling all beat makers, remixers, producers: a cappellas collection from Guilty Simpson, Percee P, Planet Asia, Charizma, Quasimoto, more
- October 06, 2008
We occasionally get emails from people asking for us to send them MC a cappellas, but like Guilty Simpson said, “I don't write raps for free. If I did I won't make it, like Shaq from three.”
Check it out. We've got an album's worth of beat-free rap a cappellas here from the likes of Percee P, Planet Asia, Quasimoto, Guilty Simpson, Oh No, Charizma and some others. These date from the early '90s to 2008 – plus one lovely track from LA Carnival's “Blind Man” sung by Lester Abhrams in 1970 for good measure.
