Stones Throw signed Jonwayne as an MC last year and this will be his first full length rap album. Jon told us at one point that he wanted to call it Bohemian Rap CD. Good idea, we said. But he kept working at it. We spent the winter, spring and summer some other unexpected releases: Jonwayne’s Cassette – and then when some corporate dudes shut it down, Cassette 2 – and Cassette 3. The whole while, Jon was building the album – revising, recording, editing, mixing, mastering. It’s turned into a great album and we’ll be talking about it all the way up to the October 29th release date.
