Sofie Royer

Sofie Royer is an Austrian-Iranian musician and artist who produces her own songs. She worked at Stones Throw for 4 years and curated Sofie’s SOS Tape for the label in 2016, which featured her collaborations with Mndsgn including the song "Abeja". An original member of Boiler Room, she hosted a regular NTS Radio show for 7 years, and is now a resident DJ for Rinse FM in France. Her debut album Cult Survivor was released in 2020. Her sophomore record, Harlequin, showcased Sofie's passion for her native city Vienna’s opera, cabaret and ballet traditions. Sofie recently guested on Toro Y Moi's album MAHAL.
