Bardo

“Renacer”, which translates to “rebirth”, celebrates Bardo’s new chapter, which arrives after leading Chicano Batman, the psychedelic rock band that “embodies Los Angeles…a sprawling map of Latinx communities and cross-cultural sound.” Born to a Mexican father and Colombian mother, Bardo grew up in the LA suburb of La Mirada in a house full of music immersed in diverse sounds, from classic rock, R&B and top 40 hits from the 70s and 80s to cumbia, vallenato, and salsa. He takes inspiration from the rich sounds of his youth and his Afro-Latino heritage to tell stories about his personal journey. Stay tuned for more.
