Anderson.Paak and Knxwledge are NxWorries. The collaboration began with “Suede.” By the time their debut album Yes Lawd! came out in 2016, Paak was well on his way to pop stardom, and Knx had picked up a Grammy Award for his production on Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly. Eight years after the release of Yes Lawd!, they returned with Why Lawd?. While their debut was strictly a duo affair, for Why Lawd? NxWorries invited friends to collaborate: H.E.R., Thundercat, Snoop Dogg & October London, Earl Sweatshirt, Rae Khalil, and more. Why Lawd? took home the Grammy Award this year for Best Progressive R&B Album.
